I don't know about you, but come Christmas, my skin – and I – are often exhausted and lackluster.
It's not only the result of chill winds and central heating that have an impact, but the pressure of present shopping (and wrapping), along with back to back festivities – and yes, - late nights and parties. Luckily, I've devised a pre and post party rescue and repair routine which will keep your skin glowing through the festive season.
I'm a great believer in spending time prepping skin before I apply make-up. Whether I'm working on photo shoots with models or doing my own pre-soiree make-up, my goal is to achieve luminous skin. I always spend a few minutes on facial massage using my multi-purpose Tri-Balm. Not only does the massage get your circulation going, Tri-Balm's circulation boosting Rice Bran Oil, exfoliating Pumpkin Enzyme gently removes dead skin cells to leave a smooth surface that is the perfect canvas for make-up. After Party Pick-Me-Up
We all know this post-party scenario. After a late night and one too many Skinny Proseccos, (who can resist?) you fall into bed without taking off your make-up. It's not the end of the world and I've devised a rescue routine that will restore even the most dehydrated skin after an indulgent evening. Remove residual make-up, then massage Tri-Balm into skin and rinse off with warm water. Pat skin dry, then re-apply another small amount of balm to re-hydrate skin. The combination of Hyaluronic Acid, Sunflower, Wheatgerm and Sweet Almond Oil will also help to plump-up morning-after skin, as well as bringing back a glow. Easy!
