Dedicated to using natural, plant-based ingredients in our skincare, we're also just as careful about what we leave out as what we put in. Part of the growing skincare movement to cut out unnecessary chemical preservatives and potentially harmful ingredients, it's always a proud moment when our efforts are recognised.
We're delighted that Frances Prescott Tri-Balm has been shortlisted for the 2019 FreeFrom Skincare Awards in the Face Care (Rinse Off) Category. We pride ourselves on our plant-based formulations that are paraben, silicone and sulphate-free. Packed with natural goodness harvested from plants, flowers, vegetables and seeds, our focus is on ingredients that are sustainable, cruelty-free and above all, gentle but effective. The FreeFrom Skincare Awards are dedicated to recognising products that are free from many of the ingredients that consumers want to avoid, whether it's due to skin allergies, ethical concerns or environmental issues. Founded in 2012 by Alex Gazzola, a writer specialising in allergies and Michelle Berriedale-Johnson, an expert in Free From products and director of the Free From Food Awards, the awards are independent, with all entries being rigorously tested and judged. We're also thrilled that Tri-Balm, our solid, twist-up cleansing stick was given a mention for being an example of the innovative and diverse skincare in 2019's awards. "Judges were impressed with the diversity of products this years," says Alex Gazzola, Awards Co-Ordinator. "Among them were a rinse-off body moisturiser, a dry shampoo powder, an overnight foot treatment, a cleansing stick, and an organic tanning water."
We're hoping we'll be winners, so watch this space!
