Only the best natural ingredients will do

Our natural skincare product is packed with ingredients harvested from plants, flowers, vegetables and seeds sourced from British growers and suppliers. Every effort is made to use naturally-derived ingredients chosen to promote healthy skin.

Ingredients and blends we use

Beeswax
The beeswax emulsifiers in our oil-based cleanser help to remove impurities without clogging pores or irritating the skin. Formed almost entirely of beneficial fatty acids, beeswax also acts as a natural humectant, attracting water to the skin and keeping it moisturised. By supporting beekeepers and the plight of wild bees, we hope to do our bit for their survival.

Pumpkin enzyme

English Oil Blend
Tri-Balm cleansing balm contains a potent blend of native English cereal, plant, fruit and flower oils, including NorOmega Gold™, specifically blended to deliver high levels of topical nutrition to the skin. This skin-nurturing cocktail also includes nourishing blackcurrant, starflower, echium and oat extract.

Sunflower Oil
Our skin balm contains sunflower oil extracted from sunflower seeds (Helianthus annus). Rich in linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid which the body is unable to produce naturally. Proven to reduce moisture loss by maintaining the skin’s own natural moisture barrier, sunflower oil also has anti-inflammatory properties which can help to reduce redness and irritation.

Hyaluronic Acid
Tri-Balm contains sodium hyaluronate, a water-soluble salt form of hyaluronic acid, essential for healthy skin. Naturally present in the body, 50% of hyaluronic acid is found in the skin’s collagen where its role is to keep skin plump. With a remarkable ability to help retain over 1000 times its weight in water, it also helps to stimulate hydrating retinoic acid and boost collagen synthesis.

Oats

Pumpkin Enzyme
Our pumpkin enzyme is a natural exfoliator which exfoliates gently and without the need for irritating granules or harsh ingredients. Extracted from pumpkin seeds, it is packed with proteolytic enzymes which help to break down dead skin cells and speed up cell renewal. Pumpkin is also rich in exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) along with antioxidant vitamin A and vitamin C, which soften and brighten skin, and alpha-carotene and beta-carotene which protect skin from premature ageing, and healing zinc.

Wheatgerm Oil
Harvested from the wheat plant’s kernel, wheatgerm contains over 23 skin-enhancing nutrients, including vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin D, protective antioxidants and nourishing omega-3 fatty acids. Easily absorbed by the skin, it’s an effective natural moisturiser, helping to heal dry and damaged skin, sooth irritated skin and protect against the environment.

Rice Bran Oil
Rice bran oil, obtained from the outer layer of the rice kernel, and is easily absorbed by the skin. With vitamin B complex to stimulate circulation, vitamin E to improve skin texture and tone, and nourishing essential fatty acids, rice bran oil also improves skin elasticity and plumpness.

Mandarin essential oil

Sweet Almond Oil
A must-have for moisturising and an all-round skin softener, sweet almond oil is derived from edible almonds (Prunus amygdalus). It helps to lock-in moisture and smooth the skin’s surface.

Vitamin E
An all-round skin protector, naturally-occurring vitamin E has potent antioxidant properties, especially effective for combatting skin damage from the sun’s ultraviolet rays and airborne pollutants.

Carrot Tissue Oil
Extracted from carrots, carrot tissue oil is rich in beta-carotene and vitamins A, B, C, D, E and F. It has significant antioxidant benefits, helping to fend off premature ageing, a direct result of sun damage and environmental pollution.

Omega oils

Mandarin Essential Oil
With antiseptic properties, mandarin (Citrus reticulata) essential oil doesn’t only smell fantastic, it helps to tone the skin and heighten feelings of well-being.

Geranium Essential Oil
Dating back to Ancient Egyptian times, geranium essential oil is not only beneficial to the skin; it’s also celebrated for reducing anxiety and alleviating fatigue. With sebum-reducing qualities (ideal for oily skins), geranium is a natural astringent which helps to tone and tighten.

Tri-Balm is dermatologically tested.
